98 honda prelude help?

Honda prelude insurnace? HELP PLEASE!!?

  • Im going to get a honda prelude soon. and the one im currently looking at that i really want is really modded. it has a body kit, and there are engine mods. so my mom currently owns a Rav4, and shes first driver on that. my dad has his own car. So my mom is going to be first driver on the Rav4 and when we get the prelude shes going to be first driver on the prelude too (we asked if we can do that and the insurance people said yes). so my mom is going to be 1st driver on both the prelude and rav4. so im gonig to be driving the prelude, but i cant be insured on it as 2nd driver because then the insurnace will know whats going on (my mom 1st driver on 2 cars and me as 2nd driver on the prelude..? it wouldnt work..). so im going to be dirivng the prelude with no insurnace (under me) but it will be insured under my mom only. What are the chances of them asking my mom for pictures of the engine (because if they see th pictures they will either not insure the car or charge us a lot for insurnace). is there any way to get around that. the insurnace people doesnt know im going to be driving it. so what are the chances of asking my 50 year old mom for pictures of the car? what can i do

    if you're truly wooried about driving without insurnace than be upfront to the carrier about who will drive what and pay the proper premiuns that way if you get in a wreck which more than likely you will you won't be screwed when they decide they can't cover you because you or your mother lied when you first bought your policy .. forget 1st driver 2nd driver and all that b/s have your mom call the carrier add the new car say who will drive it pay the premiuns and move on

for my volkswagon gti with engine mods i had geico and they insured me and my mom on hers and my car and didnt ask questions about the engin and we got a multi-car discount, we paid about 175 a month when i was 16. further advice is, when you get the car on the road obay all law untill you drive around and find safe zones where you never see cops. play in the safe zones only!!!!

trust me im a master at lowering insurance, the last thing you want to do is have no insurance what so ever because if you crash which you probably will, you'll be ******, but what you can do is buy the cheapest car you can get with a low insurance group and pay to insure that whilst getting your mother to insure the prelude and then you can drive it and if you crash it will be put on to your insurance but personally id progress naturally through powerful cars. i know everyone says this but if you jump the gun you wont learn how to control the power but more importantly when it goes wrong you need to learn how to deal with that as well and take it from me its better not to have to learn whilst spinning out at 200 kph
