Answer:
When you drive, do you get insurance on vehicles or on yourself? If you have your learners permit, you should probably already have some sort of insurance.

No. If you're in the US, you won't be able to buy the car either. Minors cannot sign a contract. The car and insurance would have to be put in your parents name.

yes u can u dont need ur license or permit to get insurance u just need a vehicle
i miss you Brandon!!!!!!
No. Assuming you are under age, put it in dad's name, and have him drive it home. You can't get insurance until you have a license. If you are over 18, take the test in the car you've been using to practice, it has insurance on the vehicle. Once you have your license in hand, call your agent to add yours, then drive it home.

Not unless you also list a primary driver, with a license. YOu can't drive the car, anyway, without a licensed driver sitting in it. But you can buy the insurance, and list a parent or two as operators.

no... you will have to get a drivers license to get insurance... and you will have to have insurance to get a drivers license... that is how it works in my state.... wonder how you pull that off????? state laws!! gotta love em!

Hmm...looks like we can't agree on this. It probably depends on your state. I'll just throw this out there for you to think about...when I was young, I saved a LOT of money on insurance by having my cars in my parent's names. It was perfectly legal, the insurance company knew I was driving the cars (I was even listed as primary operator on one), but for whatever reason, they would charge me more if it was officially MY car. To get a straight answer, you probably need to talk to your department of motor vehicles and perhaps your insurance company too. I know, I know, you'll have to wait on hold for a while and it won't be nearly as convenient as yahoo...but at least you'll know for sure. Good luck!
