What do I need to get my G1 driving license?

  • So i plan on getting my G1 soon. I live in Ontario. I know they want a signature, a birthday, and proof of legal name. So to satisfy the signature...i can take my debit card to satisfy the birthday and legal name....i can take my birth cirtificate i am sending my passport to get renewed which is why i can't take that... will just my debit card, my birth certificate, and if they need a picture, i can also have my school ID...but that is enough right? or do they NEED a passport??? Please reply quick and THANK YOUUUU!

    A passport would cover everything, but since that currently not an option, your birth certificate will cover the legal name and date of birth, Your Health card will work for a signature, only if it has your signature on it. If not, get a form (available on the attached website) will prove your signature. www.drivetest.ca/en/license/HowToApply… and remember to study from the MTO book for the written test and good luck!
