What happens if i get caught driving with my permit in another state?

You get a ticket or go to jail or get off with a warning at the discretion of the police officer. What you want to do is have your dad take you to a local office and apply for a permit in the state where you will be on the road. That or just stick to parking lots and stay off of public roads.
