Do you have to wait 6 months till you get your license in PA?

Can I get my license or do I need a permit?

  • I'm 18 years old and I don't have my permit..do I have to get it before my license..or can I just get my license? And if I do have to get my permit , do I have to wait the whole six months? I live in PA

    I don't exactly know that rules in PA, but in FL if you are over the age of 18 you can just go straight to taking you Driving test to get your license. Go to the Department of Transportation website for PA and it should tell you there.

first a permit i would suggest that you take a driving school and learn all rules then take the driving test and you will be so proud off your self for you don't have to take the test three times, also taking a driving school lower your auto insurance and having a good credit and if your going to college have a good grade you get discount on your insurance. good luck
