What car is the cheapest to insure and good for a first car?

Would i be able to insure a Toyota Celica (1.8l) or a bmw z4 (2l) for my first car if im 18,?

i just looked up compare the market for a quote for the z4 for a typical 18yr, yeah they will insure you but it will cost £14,293.65p for fully comp i didnt get a quote for the celica due to i probably didnt have the right spec for that year an it wouldnt give me a quote, so expect to be around £6000 to insure

I dont understand what you mean. You can insure any car at 18. Of course the Toyota is going to be cheaper for insurance. The bmw insurance price will probably be expensive because its a fast car and your only 18. It should probably cost around 200 for the Toyota and 350 and up for the Bmw. Any type of sports car with 2 doors is going to cost you around 4,000 a year

Wish I lived on the same planet as Joe Kiminbotoms to get insurance that cheap!! You will be very lucky to find anyone that will give you a quote for the Z4 but you may be lucky with the Toyota but it will be in excess of the value of the car.

both cars will be out of your range to insure ...you should be looking at fiesta ..micra ..106 etc ...then you will get somthing that money cant buy ...experience ..
