Ah, the joys of car insurance. Firsly, ignore anyone who comes on here and says "I saved £X with insurer X". That means nothing to anyone else unless they are of the same insurance profile e.g. same post code, vehicle, age, job, claims history, convictions, named drivers etc etc. It also doesn't give anyone any indication of what they purchased. depends on your car you want to insure and do you require fully comp or third party,it seems that 3rd party fire and theft is on the decrease,so shop around and also it depends on car security fittings and where you live and how its kept overnight.
