Whats the legal driving age in San Francisco?

I was wondering what the legal driving age is in SF cuz I'm turning 16 and people are telling me i can't get my license but others are saying i can.......i really hope i can...help??

Cant get your license until you have your permit for six months. Driving age is 16, but that is after the 6 months of permit work you can start at 15 1/2. So if you got your permit on your half birthday, then ya you can get it.
