How long does it take for an id card to come in the mail from the dmv?

I think they say it can take up to 10 business days....... about 2-3 weeks at the most. The last time I got mine it took 2 weeks.

My friend just turned 21 no more then a week ago and had sent in his renewal paperwork more then a month before. They waited until a few days before his birthday to send it out to him however. Perhaps it was due to the fact that all drivers licences expire directly on your birthdate of said year. Or perhaps its because the dmv never goes as fast as you would like it to.

It could take up to a week or longer it depends on if theres a holiday in the week or not. But I wouldn't think that it would take much longer than that.
