Drivers license question?
-
I'm almost 17 and a half and I just got my permit. I'll be able to get my license like a month before I turn 18. So, I was just going to wait until I turn 18 to actually go to the dps and get it, so that I can get my "full" license. It is to my understanding that anyone under 18 will receive a license marked "provisional" and it has little restrictions and whatnot that it entails. And then once a person turns 18 or something, they get a "full" license. Is that how it works? Or, even if I go take my test when I'm 18, will I still have to have a provisional license for x amount of months before obtaining my "full" license? Oh, also, I live in Texas
