What can you do after you get your g1?

Can you get your License (G1) at 15 years and 7 months?

• So I live in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada and I was wondering if I could get my G1 in July. I have heard from other people that you can get your license, and it depends on the person that takes your information. But I was unsure. Would it be fine to go to the license place, and tell them that I am close to 16? I have also heard that you could get your G1 after 15 years and 8 months, but cant take drivers ed until you turn 16. Please clarify this for me. Thank you!

  Hi there, No, sorry, you need to be 16 to apply for your licence - period. This is what the rules say. The only thing you can do is to prepare for that G1 test so that you pass it with your first attempt.
