Whats the cheapest small car on the market and to insure for 18 year old?

    Get a group 1 insurance band car, the slower the car is and less nickable counts for a lot in the groupings. Value is obviously a factor. A fiat seicento/cinqaciento is the lowest I reckon.

a 4 door will be cheaper than a 2 door they think 4 doors are family cares and 2 doors are sport cars.

Insurance works by putting cars into different groups. Group 20 is for M3, M5, Evo IX etc. You want to go for something up to group 4. Most car price guides give you this info so I suggest you start there and see what you like / afford.
