My car is registered in tasmania, if i drive up to queensland do i have to change the registration?

Answer:
You only have to change the car registration to Queensland registration if you are going to move there permanently. The people that don't change there car rego. when they move interstate run a big risk not having there car insurance cover there car if they are in an accident or if it's stolen. So if your going there for a holiday or just visiting and plan returning back to Tasmania you have nothing to worry about.
