How much is insurance and registration in Alberta?

SUZUKI VERONA -No Registration= No Insurance ***Can't Get Either. Mechanics, DMV workers, I need help!!!?

  • I bought a Suzuki Verona New in Alabama and paid it off (Worst Lemon car ever). Since then, I moved to California and later learned that the car I owned would never be able to pass smog due to an O2 sensor and a few other problems this Lemon had. Basically, Suzuki can't fix these problems and have had a lot of trouble/lawsuits and kept giving me the run around every time I brought it in saying it was something else and trying to charge me for the same problem they were suppose to fix time and time again. I told them it was not right to charge me for something I had already paid to get fixed then they told me that the labor would be free and I would have to pay for the parts. I told them I was going to get a lawyer and they seemed relieved because they told me they can no longer talk to me and to have our lawyer contact their lawyer UHHHGG:( LATELY I WOULD: *I would update my registration in AL *Get my Insurance in Ca * Wait until someone stole or crashed into me, Alabama changed things and now needs updated Al license to accompany the registration process with the name on the car. I am now driving a car around with No registration or Insurance and although I know I am risking 1000's in fines or whatever I just don't know what to do??? Here is how I see my options: Take it to Mexico and sell it. Sell as is. Donate/sell it to Hollywood as a blow up car Auction. Fly to Al to get updated DL so I can get updated registration and thus Insurance Research any clauses the DMV might have for someone like me ANY IDEAS???????????????????????????????????…

  • Answer:

The DMV has nothing to do with this. Forget the lawyer for now and instead Check into "Lemon Laws".

... In my opinion, Suzuki's sales goals were by no means overly ambitious -- the manufacturer hoped to sell a meager 25,000 Veronas per year. Sales fell short of even these humble expectations as consumers were turned off by the car's lack of key safety features and unimpressive handling and performance. Suzuki quickly called it a day, killing the Verona in 2006. However, the manufacturer hasn't let go of its dream of conquering the midsize sedan segment. Suzuki has announced plans to re-enter the category in the near future with an all-new vehicle. Try your luck with Suzuki.. ..

http://www.carcomplaints.com/Suzuki/Verona/2004/recalls/ http://www.carcomplaints.com/lemon_law/indiana.shtml You need to input AL in lieu of Indiana for info. http://www.avvo.com/legal-answers/bought-an--04-suzuki-verona-and-it-s-the-biggest-l-65755.html http://www.usatoday.com/tech/webguide/internetlife/2005-02-07-gripe-sites_x.htm Do not do any of the above actions that you describe, since it is illegal. It appears you have not talked to or hired a lawyer yet and I suggest you do so for your legal options and advice. And yes, once you hire a lawyer, they can no longer talk to you, but only your lawyer, since the lawyer would be REPRESENTING YOU, in regards to a possible lawsuit or help in resolving your problems. The reason that they prefer you hire a lawyer, is that a lawyer will remain calm and present the facts, vs you, are emotional about the problems, costs that you have incurred with this "sick" auto you bought. If this is a 2004 model, then the internet is clogged with all the complaints of the problems with this lousy vehicle they made and sold. I question if you should have paid for the parts or if Suzuki should have? I am hoping you have saved all of your invoices and bills that you have accumulated over the years, and once again, bring this evidence to a lawyer for legal advice. Many lawyers will give 1 free consult on your legal options. good luck

there are no caluses for you at dmv. take car to alabama or yokohama or where ever it came from and sell the damn car. If you register it out of state and go back to ca it will get you in lots of hot water eventually and you will have an impounded car with no way to get smog or tags or money back out of it or move back to original state and drive car
