In California, What is the process for getting a driver license?

Here's what I need to know... - What are the next steps - On the DMV Drivers Test: How many questions are there, what do they regard (examples), and how many can be missed? -Also is the above test the same for everyone, (ie renewals etc.) or is it a special one for first time drivers. I know its A lot to ask in one question so answer as much as you know, any help is greatly appreciated!

They are directly out of the handbook. -Also is the above test the same for everyone, (ie renewals etc.) or is it a special one for first time drivers. I think it's different. The renewal one is shorter.
