Quinn direct without a doubt - they arent the best ie well known but they will save you a bundle in your first couple of years also pass plus it takes about 6 hours to do but it save you about 100-200 quid. ps a little tip when your hunting for insurance on a search engine like confused or elephant dont put your real phone number they really hound you with calls. good luck

i passed my test in may last year, and had a brand new freelander to insure, i went on confused.com and they found me the cheapest, which like tommy suggested was quinn insurance, it saves on your phone bill and keeps your hair firmly on your head! good luck and happy motoring.x

congratulations!!! :-) i passed my test at 17 and went straight to diamond...they were cheap for me, but it isnt just age that affects how much insurance is going to cost. you need to consider what car you have as well, as this affects the amount you have to pay being a young driver big time. just ring round all the recognised insurers, and get a quote, make sure you check what excesses will be applied if you have an accident, and what cover you have. when you find a quote that suits you best, ring them back and there you go!
have you actually tried Lloyds? they are the biggest in the UK and 10% cheaper if you buy online. They have an instant form here http://www.kqzyfj.com/click-2275619-10296084 chances are that if you ever need to make a claim they'll come through better than marmelade or supermarket insurers.
