Viva Transit to TTC Bus? Fare? Tickets?
-
So i live in markham going to toronto. I'm taking the 85 VIva/YRT bus and then getting off at McCowan to the 129A bus. Do i need to pay another fare or can i use the transfer from the viva bus to the ttc bus?? so what im saying is: 1. Get on Viva/YRT bus (16th ave), pay my YRT fare --> get YRT transfer. 2. get off at mccowan --> go to the 129A TTC Bus. So can I use that YRT transfer or do i need to pay a TTC fare? Viva transit to TTC.

Answer:
For all intents and purposes, TTC buses running north of Steeles are just like YRT or VIVA buses, so you can use YRT transfers and passes. You will need to pay a TTC fare if your trip ends south of Steeles, though.
