I'm under 18, can I still get a full adult oyster card?

I cannot get a 16+ photocard at the moment as you cannot buy them until september, I need an oyster card as It is a lot cheaper for me to travel by bus with the oyster fares. Is it possible for me to get a normal (adult) oyster card?
