How much does Amtrak cost from Antioch, CA to Santa Clara, CA?
-
The ticket planner didn't work on the Amtrak website, & I'm curious as to how much the ticket would be. Even an estimate would be great, thanks!

Answer:
I'm not sure why, but it's not working for me, either, which is weird. Antioch is on San Joaquin line, and Santa Clara is on the Capitol Corridor, but those two lines share several stations. I took a look at making it two separate fares: Antioch to Oakland/Jack Russell Square, and then from Jack Russell to Santa Clara. Amtrak is saying the fares for the day I picked (a couple weeks down the road) is $10 for Antioch to Oakland, and $14 from Oakland to Santa Clara. It's also not too fast. Including the layover, it looks like it's going to be about 3 1/2 hours
