How to pass your driving test?

How to pass a driving test? Anyone know?

  • What are some of the basic ways to help me pass my driving test on the first try? I want to know how to pass a driving test. Thanks guys!

  • Answer:

I think in a lot of states you can ride with a friend while they take their DMV test. I know in South Carolina you can. You could go with a friend and see how it works. Or follow one in progress from your car. Also just look over everything in the DMV handbook and make sure you know how to do all the things in there. More advice which can SERIOUSLY help someone who is wanting to pass a driving test on the first try is on this site in my source. I hope this helps!

First of all don't stress it, it's incredibly easy if you are somewhat of a competent driver. Just remember to always check your blind spots (even on your left side), constantly check your mirrors as you are driving, don't speed, no rolling stops, stop behind stop signs/crosswalks, and learn how to parallel park. Exaggerate everything. Make it very obvious that you are checking your blind spot and your mirrors as you are driving. When you are at a stop, check every direction and make it obvious. Wait until you are at a complete stop (which means your car rolling back) and a second or two to continue at a stop. I recently took my drivers test and it was easy, so don't stress it. Good luck!

Practice, practice, practice. Driving is a physical activity and a fairly complicated one (but not as complicated as World of Warcraft raiding.) Book learning is not enough. When you've driven a lot, and you've got the hang of all the stuff they teach, and it's getting kinda boring... then you will ace the test for sure. Also, take the same car to the test that you've practiced on. You don't want to be trying to find the headlights or reverse on a strange car.

Follow ALL of the rules of the road. Come to a full stop at stop signs before proceeding through the intersection. Obey posted speed limits. Don't tailgate. Use your rearview and sideview mirrors to check for cars behind you and on your sides before changing lanes. Always use your turn signals when changing lanes and when making turns. At a traffic light, a yellow light means "slow down", NOT "speed through the intersection before the light turns red." That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

The secret to passing the road test for your license is simple...study the route that the test is conducted upon. Go to the DMV and follow a road test in progress. See where it goes, what the conditions are, speed limits, hazards and restrictions. Run it a couple of times and you should be in pretty good shape to ace the course - no matter who is riding with you. All the best.
