Why do I always feel so sleepy?

Why do I always feel sleepy when I drive?

  • Lately whenever I drive, I've been really sleepy. It's not like I'm not getting enough sleep, because I am. Today I got up, took a cool shower & doodled around for a bit. I was awake & fine. Then, around 15 mins latter I got in the car & started driving. Around 10 mins after I was driving, I started feeling really sleepy. This also happened yesterday, except it was around 5, & I was not tired at all before I started driving! Why is this happening? I don't get it! ((I really have no idea what this would go under, so I'm sorry if it's in the wrong category!))

  • Answer:

It may be an iron deficiency overall if it happens any other time, go to get your iron level checked. Also, driving makes me tired because of all the repetitive actions going on at the same time for a pretty long time. That may be it. Hope this helps :]

It's because you all drive so slow in the US, push the pedal down and get some Adrenalin in your body that will keep you awake.

It could be the motion of the car is putting you to sleep. Maybe drink red bull while you drive?
