I am storing my belongings in one of the storage PODS.What is the best way to store a 6 ft tall 3 ft wide?
-
, glass front curio cabnet that weighs about 100 lbs, in the unit?
-
Answer:
I'd remove the glass doors and wrap them securely in blankets or cardboard if the PODS is going to be moved. If you can't remove the doors or have no way to wrap them, tape the doors shut with masking tape, since it removes easily and won't leave residue on the finish. If other items could bump into the cabinet, make sure the glass is protected, lay cardboard flat against it and tape in place. If there are tie off rings on the sides of the storage unit, tie the curio against those, putting the glass doors against the wall to protect them further. Since it's so tall, it will be easy to tip if it's not packed in tightly.
