What does it take to get a moped permit?

hi i have wanted a moped for a while and i am 15 almost 16 i want to know if i can just walk in and talk that moped test then then do the courses or do i have to have something else?

Answer:
A moped is 49cc or less and I know of no state that requires a permit. You are required to be a least 15 years old and required to wear a helmet.
