Why can't they invent cars that run on water?

Dont buy any gas may 15th - may 18th?

  • DON'T BUY ANY GAS "MAY 15TH - MAY 18TH". CONSERVE THE GAS YOU HAVE JUST GO TO WORK OR SCHOOL NO JOY RIDING....ITS TIME TO TAKE A STAND AGAINST THIS GAS ISSUE....THESE OIL COMPANIES ARE MAKING BILLIONS OFF OF GAS, AND THE PRICE IS STILL RISING. THERE BANK ACCOUNTS ARE GETTING FATTER AND FATTER. THEY COULD USE THOSE BILLIONS TO HELP GAS PRICES GET LOWER. WE ARE MAKING CARS WITH LESS GAS MILEAGE. AMERICAS TECHNOLOGY HAS IMPROVED SO MUCH, BUT MPG IS STILL THE SAME SINCE THE 80'S...WTF? WE CAN SEND A GUY TO THE MOON; MAKE SMALLER CELL PHONES, BUT CANT GET BETTER GAS MILEAGE OR LOWER GAS PRICE'S....THAT'S A JOKE.. RIGHT NOW GAS IS CLOSE TO $3.50.....SO WHAT, SHOULD WE WAIT TIL THEY CHARGING US $6.00 A GALLON. AT 6.00 A GALLON IF YOU HAVE A 23 GALLON TANK YOU'LL ONLY SPEND $138.00 TO FILL UP. THAT'S NOT BUD RIGHT? ......EXXON MOBIL IS A MOB FAMILY AND WE ARE ALL BEING PLAYED, SUPPLY AND DEMAND...YEAH IF OUR SUPPLY IS SO LOW WHY R WE STILL MAKING CARS THAT RUN OFF GAS. THEY REALLY MEAN THEIR ACCOUNTS ARE LOW AND THERE TRYING TO GET MO MONEY...MO MONEY...MO MONEY....BLOOD MONEY....I'M SURE THE 2008 H2 WILL BE OUT SOON. IT WILL PROBABLY GET 9 MPG, OR WHAT, IS IT GONNA RUN OFF OF SALT WATER. SO IF YOU CAN, PLEASE DON'T BUY GAS "MAY 15TH - MAY 18TH". I KNOW MOST OF US ARE TIRED OF SPENDING ALL YOUR MONEY ON GAS. I CAN BUY A PAIR OF SHOES EVERY TIME I FILL UP. I CAN USE GAS MONEY TO EAT AT RED LOBSTER EVERYDAY (I KNOW MY BIG TRUCK DRIVERS KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT).... WE GOT PEOPLE DYING BECAUSE OF THIS LIQUID GOLD, I HAD A COUSIN WHO WAS KILLED B/C OF GAS ....WTF? SO TRY TO SPREAD THE WORD SEND THIS MESSAGE TO AT LEAST 3 OTHER PEOPLE... WE NEED TO SHOW THESE OIL TYCOONS WHATS UP. DON'T FORGET NOW "MAY 15TH -18TH" GET THE GAS YOU NEED ON THE 14TH AND 19TH. HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE ARE JOINING IN....LETS TURN IT TO THOUSANDS OR MILLIONS OR LETS MAKE SOME BILLIONS LIKE EXXON DOES."

    Why are so many people so stupid that they don't think we can make a difference by standing together? I am boycotting this week and cutting fuel consumption in general. I want a new car- a hybrid would be great but I cannot afford a new car. I have 3 kids and am in college and my husband is a roofer. I want a toyota corolla with 41 mpg.

OK. I can go without buying gas for 3 days... I can go for a whole week since I only drive 8 miles to work, and driving to the gym is less than 1 mile away! And all the stores are 0-3 miles away. HA!! plus my boyfriend's motorcycle goes 50miles per gallon.. mua hua hua hua!! And I can just ride on the back seat with him!

I won't buy gas on those days, and even if it's just the 2 of us we will have tried to do something. I don't know what is wrong with Americans any more. We just work a little longer, try a little harder, and turn on each other. We all can not possibly own stock in big oil, nor can we keep going like this. I know they can hear us, but they are not listening. Why should they? What are we going to do about it? Just shut up, and pump the gas is what they are saying. So what's it going to be? If we take our stand on this, or anything (at this point I would agree to outlaw Vanilla Ice Cream just to prove it can be done) I'm in! anybody with me?

If you did that then good, but don't think the oil companies would care, because they won't, they will wait till you are out of gas and desparate to fill up, and just before you do, they will raise the prices to recover the losses incurred when you were not buying gas. Catch 22 situation.

It would be great if you could get people not to "consume gas" on specific dates - that would help. But what about going to work? Truckers? Buses? etc? Just not buying gas on these days does not change the amount consumed. The way to make a differance in the price is to pick a comapny and Boycott them until the price drops to a "reasonable" level. Not pumping gas won't help you stupid ****. the only thing that will help is using less gas. The gas companies work like ANY business and look at monthly profits. If you miss one day and fill up the next its call...*drumroll please*... A SPIKE. and this cause the price to go even higher because there is more demand. The gas market is a "supply and demand market" meaning the more thats needed, the higher it gets. These fuel outs don't help anyone but the very companies you're trying to stop. Not only that, it makes you look like a moron for not understand basic economics. Want to hurt the oil companies? USE LESS FUEL. walk when you could drive. Next time you click and paste a jackass email on here, try not to get one in all caps. ;)

You're a stupid hippy. Quit crying about gas......buy a horse instead. Gimme a break...if you don't wanna use gas...move to Ethiopia...or some undeveloped land. If you would just save the money you spend on incense and patcholi...you would have plenty left over for gas.
