What are the 3 bus yards in the MARTA system?

How does the bus system work?

  • how does the buses here in ontario work? specifically in the York, Peel and Dufferin region. i'm new to this and i wanna try riding the bus but i dunno on how the system works. what are tickets? can i ride the bus without tickets and just pay directly to the bus driver? does the bus stop at a certain bus stop or can i get off the bus whenever i reach my destination? ooh, and do they give out change if i pay in excess or something? additional points would be great.. it's all different and confusing from where i've been, so it's all new to me. hehe :D thanks P.S. please don't post websites. please don't post websites. thanks

  • Answer:

    1) The bus drivers (anywhere) do not carry change. It is EXACT fare only. (means no change) 2) Tickets are usually cheaper than the cash fare in the long run. But both are valid for the bus ride. 3) The buses follow a fixed route with various stops along the way (ie: a sign on a pole). When you get to where you want to go ring the bell. ps: You SHOULD let people post websites. Those that do, give you useful sites, like the website for the bus system your trying to learn about. That website has everything you need on it..
