How bad is the commute from burbank to century city?

  • My Wife and I are thinking of purchasing a home in Burbank, CA. and wanted to know how bad the commute would be every morning from burbank (Just off the pass exit off the 101) to century city every morning. How bad is Laurel Canyon in the morning? If i were to leave my home in burbank around 7am, what time would i get to century city? What would be the best route? Should i leave earlier? Please only Serious answers from people who live in Southern California. Thanks again!

  • Answer:

Even if you take Laurel Canyon, you have to get down to Century City which will take you another 20 minutes. You could take 101 to the 405 and get off at Santa Monica Blvd, Olympic Blvd or Pico Blvd and drive to Century City. If you go Laurel Canyon which is further east than Century City, you end up on Sunset Blvd., then have to drive through Beverly Hills to get to CC. I would say 45 minutes to an hour with no traffic problems.
