Does Mississauga Transit have a yearly or monthly pass?

Questions about the $52 GTA Weekly Pass?

• I am commuting from Brampton to school, and this pass seems the best option to cover all of my Brampton/Toronto/Mississauga needs but I have a few questions like, can I buy it at the Bramalea transit terminal or do I have to buy it in Toronto? Does it work for the subway or will I have to pay for tokens? Brampton Transit has a page saying it doesn't accept passes from other transit services or that you need a Zone 3 punched pass? What does that mean? I'm just really nervous because I don't want to have a problem getting to school. Thanks :)

  "Can I buy it at the Bramalea transit terminal or do I have to buy it in Toronto?" You can buy the GTA weekly pass at the Bramalea Terminal. If you don't have time, you can buy the GTA weekly pass at Kipling, Islington, Union, Warden, Kennedy, Finch, Downsview, and a few more. "Does it work for the subway or will I have to pay for tokens?" You can swipe the pass in all subway stations. That's why it has this magnetic stripe at the back. "Brampton Transit has a page saying it doesn't accept passes from other transit services or that you need a Zone 3 punched pass? What does that mean?" Yes, Brampton Transit does NOT accept MiWay, YRT, and TTC passes. This is because Metrolinx likes to force everyone to use the Presto card to get the cheapest fare possible for passengers. MiWay is also doing this. This is an excerpt from MiWay's website: "Customers travelling between cities should consider purchasing a GTA Weekly Pass, Tickets or a PRESTO Card to get the best value." The TTC's Zone 3 transfer is only available for TTC routes that serve York Region such as 35D, 102D, etc. which require an extra fare to get one.
