Where would I find a reasonably priced trunk?

Where can I find a kit to pop my trunk??

  • Humm.. I was on state line up in Texarkana Texas the other nite and saw a guy that hit a button and his trunk popped up and he had like 3 12's in his trunk and some neon tubes. Then he hit another button and put the trunk back down. Anyone know how to do this or where to buy a kit to do this??

    If your trunk has an inside release, any after-market auto electronics store can put in the remote trunk release for your car. This usually comes with a remote lock/alarm system also. My son had an alarm put into his car last year, decided he wanted the remote trunk release added, so they did it last week for him.

You could use the control off of one of the new minivans that have a remote sliding door. This would require a lot of custom fabrication. Not a job for the inexperienced. Good luck. Sounds like a neat trick for a show vehicle.
