What does a transit bus weigh?

Grand river transit bus route?

  • I'm from Ontario, Canada and I am going to be using the public bus system, but I'm a little confused. When creating a trip plan with grand river transit (using the "easy go" option on their site), i got this plan that tells me to take a bus for about 40 minutes and then arrive at a certain stop and transfer to a different bus route. However it also says right after the arrive part " Note: the next trip will use the same vehicle." What does this mean? Do I just stay on the bus? Do I get off? It tells me to transfer but transfer to what bus because apparently the bus I transfer to is the bus that I'm currently on? Please help me!

  • Answer:

To save resources, Grand River Transit, like many other transit agencies, often interlines two or more bus routes that have a common terminal. In general, this means you can stay on the bus when it arrives at the terminal, and leaves on a different route. You should always check with the driver to confirm that this is what will happen, as it may not happen on every trip for that bus route.
