What cars compete with the Mazda3 Grand Touring Model? Any recommendations?

  • Any one looked at the the Mazda3 GrandTouring Hatchback - 5 door comparing new cars? I've heard great things but noisy inside. Any way to quiet this down? (undercoating?).

    Mazda's are actually engineered to have cabin engine noise, so if that's what you're referring to, then undercoating will quiet that some. Mazda's theory is "All about the test drive", as well as "The soul of a sports car." Even the Mazda 5, which has a rendition of that engine (2.3L), will have that engine noise.
