What kind of coolant do you put in a 1998 Volkswagen Jetta GL?

Which of these cars should I definitely NOT consider getting?

  • sorry, it's kind of a lot...but if it means anything, i promise i'll choose BA? haha all of them are 11,000 or less and are ones i've been considering and now just need some outside opinion, so if you're knowledgeable on cars, please lend me your opinion. 1998 Honda Accord LX Coupe 2000 Mercury Cougar 2000 Monte Carlo SS Coupe 2001 Saturn SC2 2001 Hyundai Elantra GLS 2001 Mustang Coupe 2001 Nissan Maxima GLE 2002 Mitsubishi Galant GT2 2002 Lincoln LS Sport 2002 BMW 530IA 2003 Mustang Coupe Delux 2004 Volkswagen Jetta GIS 2005 Chevrolet Classic 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis GS 2005 Hyundai Sonata GL an older Chevrolet Impala like-wise, if there's anything that stands out to you, please let me know. thank you!

    Gonna go ahead and answer "Which of these cars should I consider?" I would put the Accord above all others, even with the F series motor in it... Behind that, the Maxima and Galant, about the same. Then the Jetta. Then the Hyundais. Skip all of the American cars, especially the SC2... Hope that helps.

2000-2005 Impala. These guys who say they aren't reliable are ignorant. The 3.8l engine is bulletproof reaching 200k-300k miles on the original block and tranny. They are cheap to insure, cheap to maintain and I get 24 MPG city and 30+ hwy. It's a full size 3500 lb car. they are very nice and have a lot of power. You'll love it.

Japenese cars are probably a good choice, as they remain reliable forever. However any old U.S. cars will crap out.
