Are you happy with your Toyota Tundra?

Toyota Tundra or Ford F150 4.6 V8?

• I'm looking into a 2WD 2008-2010 4.6/4.7 V8 Regular cab F150 or Tundra. I've narrowed down my choices and it's come down to those two and nothing else. I've driven both 2010 4.6 models with 6 speed automatics and both have pretty good performance considering the 4.6. I want the 4.6 because my hauling demands aren't too big, and I know each tank fill up will be like 80 bucks since I have to use this as a commuting truck for my job. I'd get a 250/2500 series DIESEL crew cab if money was no issue and if I had bigger hauling demands, but diesel in this area is very scarce for some reason. Not to mention repairs for diesel engines are totally wack when it comes to the cost....even though they do perform better. I enjoy my V6 4X4 Frontier, but I have to get bigger for other purposes. Everyone I know who has had an F150 has had many problems with it and they have been known to be unreliable. Cheapest full size truck to buy in America, makes sense...right? Although, after comparison to maintenance, insurance, and parts availability, the F150 has been known to be cheaper to run and maintain. The Tundra on the other hand is questionable when it comes to reliability. I don't know too many people who have a Tundra, let alone a 4.6 tundra and the online reviews weren't as widely available either. Parts and insurance was a little bit higher then the F150, but Toyota has been known as a solid, reliable brand. Both offer the same amount of cargo space, cabin space, and great features. So I can't really decide. Which one will be the best for reliability, performance, and best gas mileage (Yes, I'm aware it's a full size truck and not a compact car, so I know the gas mileage and fill up won't be easy on the wallet)
