How does yahoo.com advertise?

Where best to advertise my car?

  • I'm selling my car in the UK. I've always used Autotrader but they now want around £50 to advertise a car with them. Are there any other places I could advertise? I've done Facebook. If I had to pay £50 just to advertise it, I'd be less inclined to give a discount on the car.

What type of car is it? There are many online sites dedicated to specific vehicles (ex:the samba.com sells only VW vehicles)

Gumtree is good, and free but be prepared for a lot of half-wits pestering you. I buy and sell most of my cars on Gumtree. Or there's Ebay, which costs about the same as AT once you pay the ad listing fee and sale fees.
