Can you transport homemade baked goods on a plane?

Does FEDEX transport goods only via flight ?

  • Does FEDEX transport goods via sheep as well or only via flight ?? Because on their web site they have mentioned ---- 'You will need to complete a FedEx International Air Waybill every time you ship with FedEx'.

  • Answer:

FedEx, as well as some other carriers, did try using sheep for a while. They were easy to herd, but ultimately very slow. The cost of using sheep, along with the personnel needed to groom and feed them wound up outweighing any benefits. The wool produced was substandard and could only be used to make itchy christmas sweaters. Plus, the sheep themselves hard difficulty reading the addresses and making accurate deliveries. Ultimately, the sheep program was discontinued. Anton Dvorsky, a Serbian entrepreneur, began a small startup carrier in 1997 that tried using llamas and alpacas, as they can go greater distances. That company later evolved into DHL Freight (Dvorsky's Has Llamas). To this day, DHL uses llamas and alpacas to make final delivery to residents in rural areas where trucks and mopeds have a hard time navigating. Hopefully this answered some of your questions about the delivery industry and its use of herd animals for ground delivery. The more you know......
