Should I sell my car and buy Cadillac DTS?

• I currently have 2007 Mercury Montego. I love the car. The only thing-I was thinking about pimping my ride out, but I am not sure if it's worth it because the car is not that high end plus the seats and exterior color are not exactly what I want and it might be cheaper to sell it and get another one with options I want so I will only have to put the dubs on. Is this whole thing worth doing if I am thinking about getting DTS? I am sure it's not gonna drive much better than my car (it cost over 30k brand new and has almost the same luxury features as caddie), but it might be better for the "customizing" it part. I bought the montego about 7k below the kbb price so I wouldn't be losing any money if I sell it, I've had it for about a year and a half. DTS is the only car now that attracts me, my budget would be around 15k. Mercury is considered more reliable btw. Bonus question-Is DTS worth pimping it out?

  You can get great deals on the used four door domestic cars. I think tou could find a one owner car with under 60,000 in you price range pretty easly. If you are gona a pimp a newer caddie I would not touch the paint find the collor you want go on line and see what the choises were for the year you are looking for. The caddies come with some killer paint on them from the factory purlesent and other cool lookes that would cost a fortune to even come close to reproducing. It being GM flag Ship the paint is High end out of the box. As for pimping a DTS every car I buy has to be customise I start with exhaus intake and go untill its just the car I want. I like trucks and I set out to find a rare 444 turbo diesel with a six speed one owner all stock low miles. It took me a while to find it I found it a used truck dealer and traded my last truck in on it. So pimp your ride thats American I would save that paint on a caddie but go wild every where else. I also would not put money in a car that wasent one you thought could be the coolest car on the road and a caddie will always be the top of the line GM car.
