Someone wants to sell me a car on craigs list and use ebay safe pay is it safe.?

scam scam scam scam scam scam scam never put any money down without seeing and test driving a used car for at least 30 to 40 minutes, never do email deals for used cars, offers to ship cars are 100 percent fraudulent. you will lose your money, and never see a car, there are plenty of scam artists stealing to make a buck , dont be a victim, find a real car, test drive a real car, take a real car to a mechanic, this is the only way to buy a car, other than go to a local dealer.

Do not pay it is a scam. You are not supposed to wire the money to anyone through eBay especially on Craigslist since it is local and you're supposed to buy the car in person.

Don't buy any car unless you can test drive it and have a mechanic check it out. If the car checks out ok and the seller has a clean title then do business.

its a scam. most of the time they use fake ebay sites. if the auction isnt through ebay itself then it is not legit and with cars it is best to see them in person first.

Sure it's safe....for the guy stealing your money. I find it hard to believe that people actually still fall for this OBVIOUS SCAM. Why would anyone sell a car for 1/10 of its value and ship it for free? GET A CLUE!!!!!

no bad idea. i would just write a check or use cash. its the safest way. or just not buy the car.
