What is my car worth?

  • I was going to repair my car and then sell, but someone is interested in it now. It is a 2006 Chrysler Sebring, automatic, 2.4 L. It has about 60,000 miles on it, and has no body damage. Now the problem. I need to replace the transmission, which I have already bought. Also, a couple years ago the engine had to be replace. Yeah I know...Chrysler sucks. What I'm wondering is how much should I sell it for with the transmission I bought not installed yet.

You can look at KBB's site and input your cars info there to get an estimated value (link below with stock trim). It valued your car around $5,100 and $6,300 (this price is for California). As for what you should sell it for, have an estimate done on installing your transmission and deduct that cost from the total price, probably $500-$1000.
