What are the top two fastest stock cars each car Brand has?

Need advice on buying a car - think we might be getting ripped off by the car salesman?

  • All right, so my husband has this friend - well he's kind of like a guy he met through his work, not necessarily a 'friend' - and he owns his own car dealership. Well, we're needing a car right now so his friend said he would hook us up and try to get us the best deal on one of his cars. We told him our price range is in the $6-7 thousand range and didn't want to pay over $200 a month on our payments. We went yesterday to look at cars and they had pulled three up to the front to look at. All were used vehicles mainly made in 2006-2007 range and cheaper so that we could afford them. We really liked this big crossover because of all the roomy spacy it had in it - but the bank was worried we would default on the loan, so then Rocky (the guy) goes and pulls up this nearly brand new car (a 2009 Chrysler Sebring) in immaculate shape and him and the car salesman (who just so happens to be his nephew) are going on and on about what a good car it was, that we'd get the most car for our buck, really trying to get us worked up over it. They didn't tell us how much the total cost was but said they would work out so that our payments would be around $200 or so a month - and Rocky said he has connections with the banks and such. Neither me or my husband knows much about cars. We're both young and inexperienced when it comes to car buying, but we're both also very worried since it's such a huge buy. There were two other cars that were older and in our price range that we had looked at and were considering, but they were really trying to sell us this '09 car. He even had like three other people come in and introduce themselves to us, really laying on the theatrics and such, people going in and out of the office and bragging about how they lie to other customers all the time to get the most money out of the deal - but then said they weren't going to do that with us because we had the VIP status. I know that's what car salesmen do when they're trying to sell you a car, but Rocky promised he was going to treat us right and get us the best deal possible......is that really what he's doing or is in the process of ripping us off and we're just too naive to see it? I'm not so sure that we can trust him. I had a credit score of 331 and husband had a score of 320 We don't have any money to put down on it either. His car just broke down so this is a spur of the moment buy. Thanks in advance, need the best advice here on what to do!

everyone has the "car guy friend"..they will always try to get what is best for them...not you....you can tell people whose credit scores are so low, can not and should not take on any kind of credit....if you do sign something with them....you will be paying something like.....160 for each 100....get a pt job...work hard,,, fix ur credit and buy a car when you can afford it..
