How much does insurance go up if you go from a 91 Chevy Lumina Euro with 6 cyl. to a 98 Mustang with 8 cyl. ?

  • I'm a minor and currently own a 91 Lumina Euro with 6 cyl looking to buy some kind of Mustang or other thats in the late 90s or early 2000's. I have state farm insurance. The one im currently looking at is 8 cyl, so how much will my insurance go up if I purchase it?

    A whole bunch I can assure you. There's no way to tell because demographics (location) play a big part of how insurance companies rate their plans. Your gonna have to see your agent. Even as a minor, you can still get a quote so go & ask. G'luck.

It depends on a lot of things. Your exact age, (mine went down when i turned 18 then again at 20) where you live, your driving record, deductables, what kind of coverage you have, and so on. Your best bet is to just call your insurance agent and get a quote. They're usually happy to do it.
