I live in Indiana. If I buy a car in Michigan, do i pay taxes to both states, or which one?

I want to buy a car in Michigan, but i do not want to get slammed with taxes from more than one state since I live in Indiana. How would this tax situation work out for me?
-
Answer:
You pay where you register it, which is Indiana. So if u purchase from a dealer in Michitgan they cant collect any taxes from you. You pay it when u register it in Indiana.
