Has anyone actually bought a car using RideSafely?

Has anyone ever bought a SALVAGE car off of the internet ?

  • Hello everyone. I was maybe thinking about buying a salvage car, damaged, car off of the internet. The prices are low which is nice but there is a few things that actually bother me : 1. I cannot see the car in person. 2. I cannot actually get in, test the car/ see actual damage. It bothers me that I must rely on pictures to see the extent of the damage. But then I think, people buy cars off the internet all the time. And even car dealers get their cars from auctions. And I bought used cars before and they work great. So if their is anyone that can offer me some advice, your time and knowledge are always appreciated. Thanks, Kelly

Only dumb people buy cars without inspecting them and driving them.

NEVER buy an automobile sight unseen. And the fact that it is salvaged is a double mystery. Don't do it, too big of a risk.

A car is a major purchase, and should NOT be done without thorough inspection of the vehicle. Salvage titles mean that the car was probably totalled in a major accident, flood, or some other source of major damage. While the price may be low, it is not worth the risk you may be taking...

salvage means that it is a parts car.not meant for licensing.i have sold cars this way before, and they were on their last leg.only good for parts,or in serious need of repair.

Never buy a used car online unless you can inspect it before you pay for it, especially if you are buying it from an individual. There are lots of scam online. As you said, there might be damage that you can't see from picture. Also how are you going to pay? Western union (99% scam) or cash when the car is delivered?

Never, ever buy a car sight unseen. In any way, shape or form. A car is something you must absolutely see in person before buying it. There is a chance the car does not even exist.

not smart to do and not only that no warranties for them and your state might not even let you register it. find something better
