Where To Buy Prime Mango In Canada?

If I buy a Honda in the US & import to Canada, is the warranty still good? If not could I buy another warranty

  • I've been living in Utah for the past year, and I will be moving back to Canada in about a month. Before I leave, I was considering buying a new Honda vehicle here, then importing to Canada. I would be saving about $5000 dollars, but I don't know if it would be worth it if the warranty was void and something on the car messed up. Or should I just suck it up and buy the new Honda in Canada for the warranty? Also, does anyone know if I could buy an aftermarket warranty in Canada that would cover a US imported vehicle. Please post a link so I can see the info. Thanks! :D

i must have answered this question 100 times for all the Canadians that think they can go border shopping for a brand new vehicle, long story short it only works for a used vehicle for Canadians border shopping. for you however it will work buying a brand new Honda providing you prove US residence your warranty will be in effect but should you sell vehicle it's non transferable, here is a copy/paste from Honda. The reciprocal warranty agreement between Honda Canada and American Honda only covers owners who relocate from one country to the other, or owners from one country who are travel ling on business or vacation in the other country. If a vehicle that was originally sold new in the United States is brought into Canada, its warranty only applies to the owner that purchased the vehicle while living in the U.S. and who imports the vehicle into Canada for their own personal or family use.
