Can I rent a car "without" a major credit card?

  • I'm over the age of 25 I have my bank card. BOA I do NOT have car insurance I I live in a place where I don't need a car but I will be doing some traveling this summer and will need to rent a car. Does anyone know if I can rent one if I don't have a major credit card? Thanks
