Question for car sales people-?

Is it rude to work with two different sales people when going back to a car dealership?

  • I went to a car place to buy a vehicle, he was fine, told him I'd work with him if I came back, didn't end up buying a car. Eight weeks later I need to buy a car and returned to the same place, wasn't sure if I saw the same guy, ended up getting a new sales consultant and then SAW the first sales person during my trip there. Didn't buy a car, but thinking of returning to do so. Do I ask his boss if they can split commission. Do I admit to him that I messed up on accident? Do I not worry about it at all? What's the etiquette here? Thanks.

  • Answer:

it would be good if you can get the floor manager to help mediate to split the comish ... and you will have done the correct thing .. get some biz cards from each and pass'em on to help them ==== what if it was you trying to sell a car !!!
