I think also you need to send a letter to the BMW headquarters to let them know of the outstanding service you got with this particular salesperson. They might have an associates reward or recognition program, or something like that. I know that car salespersons only receive comissioned income, so your gift would be greatly appreciated. If your BMW is new, she got very little from the sale. If it is a used car, she probably got a little more due to the dealer mark-up. Sales is not a real lucrative business these days. You are very fortunate to have had such a great person to work with.

in general , i wouldn't give a new or used car salesman anything. for the most part they are all just rip off artists.

Write a nice letter to the dealership and thank them and her for the great service etc. this goes a long way. gift cert is nice too.

That was her job. She is good at it. She doesn't need anything but a "thank you" and hopefully, you will be a repeat customer.

While I can appreciate your gratitude for her, remember she wasn't doing this out of the goodness of her heart, she was making money off of you, probably some pretty good money at that. However if you do want to show your appreciation, I think that the gift charge is an excellent choice, if rather extravagant. A more appropriate gift would be a pizza, lunch, something along those lines. Also be aware that some car dealers will read mail addressed to delivered to the dealership addressed to a sales person, so I would deliver it in person.

order $30 - $40 flowers send a note with it thanking her ..that's it nothing else... have flower shop deliver it for the rest of the know it alls that responded to this question a car salesman gets paid different ways normally its a draw against commission so the week they dint sell anything they still get a paycheck...some work salary some have a sales bonus at end of month if your not number one or two every month you might not have a job..they make a decent living there not getting rich... half the customers he sees are thieves or dishonest so after hearing what you have to say about them...wouldn"t you really like to know what they say about you

While i prefer cash or gift cards, many clients have surprised me with t-shirts, bottles, or little things that they realized i like during our time together. A little nice thing will go a long way if you need her down the road. A subsciption to an automotive mag is a nice gesture too.
