Where can I find a car for cheap?

Where can i go to find an extreamly cheap car to buy?

  • My car broke down about a month ago and it would cost more to fix it than what the car is worth. I am getting a ride to work from my mom and bothering my roommates and friends for rides home. So I am in desperate need to get a car ASAP. I don't really car about make or model. I just need an automatic thats less then $1000. Can't find anything even remotely cheap in the newspapers, where else can I check?
