Where to find state surplus auctions?

How do I find out the time schedule for police auctions in the state of Oregon?

  • I am trying to find a schedule of dates and times for the police auctions (seized, foreclosed items, etc.) Many sites tell me I can pay for this information, but there must be some free public listing since it's through a government agencyt. Can anyone help?

  • Answer:

I went to a police auction last Friday Night. It was published in the local newspaper. I purchased a confiscated clothes washing machine and an electric clothes drier in nearly new shape for $150.00. Try calling the local police stations and asking where and when they are going to be held. The police want to make money on their confiscated items so they should be willing to tell everybody where they are being held. Good Luck from a Lucky Buyer.
