Should I take my chances with the 2011 dodge charger?

I'm turning fifteen and my parents promised me a car and I really like the 2011 dodge charger but I also know it has somewhat questionale reliability and I'm considering the V6 version and this is the reliability data for it if you want to see for yourselves (This reliability data is owned by Consumer Reports) ENGINE MAJOR: Engine rebuild or replacement, cylinder head, head gasket, turbocharger or supercharger and timing chain or belt. ENGINE MINOR: Oil leaks, accessory and pulleys, engine mounts, engine knock or ping. ENGINE COOLING: Radiator, cooling fan, water pump, thermostat, antifreeze leaks, overheating. TRANSMISSION (AND CLUTCH)-MAJOR: Transmission rebuild or replacement, torque converter, premature clutch replacement. TRANSMISSION (AND CLUTCH)-MINOR: Gear selector and linkage, coolers and lines, transmission computer, transmission sensor or solenoid, clutch adjustment, hydraulics (clutch master or slave cylinder); rough shifting, slipping transmission. DRIVE SYSTEM: Driveshaft or axle, CV joint, differential, transfer case, four-wheel-drive/all-wheel-drive components, driveline vibration, electrical failure. FUEL SYSTEM: Check-engine light, sensors (O2 or oxygen sensor), emission-control devices (includes EGR), fuel-injection system, engine computer, fuel cap, fuel gauge/sender, fuel pump, fuel leaks, stalling or hesitation. The 2011 Charger is totally redone for 11 and should be the best ever? While Dodge in general is not known for reliability and resale value. their build quality has improved. To compare the 2006 wi.th the 2011, there is no comparison. Look at the october or november car & driver mag. They did a cover story on the 2011 charger and it was excellent. You will need to look at the V6 instead of the HEMI because a 16 year old with a high power, brand new car will be VERY expensive to insure. The V6 alone will still be "jaw dropping" as it is.

2011 dodge charger id say go for it if ur parents wanna buy it for you, if theres an issue with it then since its new u cld just complain to dodge and they will fix it. nice car, geez i wish my parents would buy me a new charger, i had to buy my own used civic as my first car, then i bought my 2nd car myself. lucky kiddd!

Don't get it!!!!! My 07 Charger is in the shop and its going to cost $825 to fix the rear wheel bearings both sides.

keep in mind that the V6 offered on the 2011 charger is a brand new V6 completely for dodge. Its a 3.8 or 3.9L V-6 that puts out 300 or 310 horses. So really you cant say its going to have the same problems as the 2.7 V6 and the 3.5 HO V6 as the past chargers. I say go for it.
