BMW vs. Mercedes Benz which one is the better?

  • I am trying to make a choice between BMW and mercedes, i dont know which one is better, i dont even know which i want to buy but both cars have alot of pros and cons, Bmw is the ultimate driving machine, it has probably the best looks a car could get, i havent seen a car that looks as good as M6 Bmw has done an amazing job with the m6 and m5 and other bmers, on the other hand Mercedes Benz has the Amg models which are powerfull, I think Mercedes is more powerfull company than Bmw but is this true, i am looking for answers from car experts or past owners of these two brands, truely which one of these two brand is worth to trust, which one will have less repairs, but is fast and catches everyones eye in the streets.

bmw is most definatley the way to go, lighter cars, so while the engine may not be as powerful as an amg, you accelerate quicker, and your ride is smoother. bmw has better stability control, so you can take corners faster, and bmw has a better warrantee on their vehicles, make the right choice

Most people dream is to own either one. Having the opportunity to drive both i consider myself lucky. I have found what many other have said, just in my own words: The bmw is pure performance with luxury, while the mercedes is pure luxury with performance. I happen to like the performance better than luxury, i'd take a bmw. But, this also depends on exactly which models you are talking about.

Both are nice vehicles and well made..Either would be an excellent choice but I would go for the BMW myself.

If your looking for performance over luxury then go for the bmw.If your looking for luxury over performance then go mercedes.They are both very well engineered cars and your splitting hairs.

I have had both, currently in MBZ. If performance is what you want go with the BMW, yes the AMG package is nice, but it is an afterthought for MBZ. BMW is built on performance. MBZ is a nice cushy car, BMW will have firmer feel and seat for driving. Can't go wrong with either.... BMW does have all maintenance pre-paid which is nice. I am paying about $300-500 a year in maintenance on the MBZ
