What can i paint for an art project with the theme 'journeys'?

  • I've been given an art project to do but im stuck for ideas. The theme is 'journeys' so i need some different interpretations of what i can paint.

you could paint a wild sea with a boat riding over the terrors of a storm at sea. Showing an adventure and bravery. It has rolls of wildness and the terror you face with any journey. you could paint a mine that is half run down and half new. On the half new side you could have miners from the goldrush and on the old side you could have a mule train or kids exploring. To show maybe a blast from the past journey. Showing the journey the mine took through the ages.
